BRANDON — Workers in Brandon have made a grisly discovery, unearthing a human skeleton at a construction site.

A construction crew was digging a basement when the hydraulic excavator churned up what was first thought to be a rock.

Jason Hayden, who was operating the equipment, said he saw an `orange round thing’ sitting on the pile.

When he pushed it with the bucket, he saw a face.

The entire skeleton was also visible, but had been scattered throughout the dirt after being disturbed by the backhoe.

Brandon police have secured the site and are now considering it a crime scene.
