Judge demands that ex-Edwards aide appear in US court with personal video shot by mistress

PITTSBORO, N.C. – A judge wants a former aide to John Edwards to appear in a court along any copies of private videotapes that are being demanded by Edwards’ former mistress.
Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones has scheduled a hearing Friday for Andrew Young, who claims to have a video of Edwards having sex with a woman.
The judge wrote in court documents that Andrew Young could be held in civil or criminal contempt if he does not personally appear in court along with all copies of the items that Edwards’ mistress Rielle Hunter is seeking.
Hunter won a restraining order to get back photos and what she called a private video of her and Edwards. Young’s attorneys say the tape Hunter wants appears to be different than the one he has.
